Cleburne News
John William Bain, 80-year-old resident of Heflin, Route 1, passed away about 11 
a.m., Wednesday, July 16 at his home.  Funeral services were held from Morrison's 
Chapel at 4 p.m., Thursday by Rev. Bean and Pashal. Interment was in the church 
cemetery with Brown-Service in charge. The grandsons acted as pallbearer. He is 
survived by his wife, one son, W. J. Bain, Wedowee, Route 1; one daughter, Miss 
Mary Etta Bain, Heflin, Route 1; one brother, J. R. Bain, Heflin, Route 1, and a 
sister, Mrs. Lee Lewis, Wehadkee.
