Services for Mrs. Pearlie Lizzie Bearden 86 of Heflin Rt 3 will be Wednesday at 
2 p.m. at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist church Randolph County with the Rev. Roland 
Brown and Rev. David D. Long. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with 
Dryden Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends until 9 tonight 
and until time-of-service Wednesday. Mrs. Bearden died Monday at Lineville 
Nursing Home. Survivors include two daughters. Mrs. Ruby Walker ana Mrs. Ruth 
Smith, both of Heflin; two sons, Curtis Bearden of Weaver and Arvell Bearden of 
Heflin; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-
grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Mrs. Bearden was a Cleburne 
County native and lifelong resident. She was a member of the Pilgrim Rest 
Baptist Church of Randolph County.
