L. Birdsong, 26 Randolph Street, in Lowell, Friday morning at 3:30. The funeral services and burial were conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at Union Hill, with Revs. W. W. Lankford and L. G. Lankford in charge and Quattlebaum directing. Four sons: O. L., C. J., J. D., and E. L.; one daughter, Mrs. Lula Dodgen; one brother, J. C. Hornsby; one sister, Mrs. J. C. Sudduth; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all of Roanoke or nearby, survive.
