OBITUARIES:

Era K. Bishop

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Era K. Bishop, age 92, of Roanoke, died Friday, May 15, 1987.
   She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth B. Bailey of Roanoke; one son, 
Heyward Bishop of Boaz; and 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Bishop were conducted Saturday, May 16, at 3:00 
p.m. from Quattlebaum's Funeral Chapel, with interment in Randolph Memory 
Gardens.  Officiating ministers were the Rev. Kenneth Perry and the Rev. Harry 
Bridgeman.
   Pallbearers were Hewell Bishop, Tommy Bishop, Frank Bishop, Darrell Bishop, 
Bevley Bishop, and Richard Sheppard.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
