MRS. STELL BLAKE DIES

The Roanoke Leader, Dec. 27

Information has been received here of the death Saturday night in a St. 
Louis hospital of Mrs. Stell Blake. Funeral services were held at Tuscumbia 
on Monday. She was the widow of a former probate judge of this county and 
lived many years at Wedowee and later at Roanoke. She was born in Heflin and 
lived there in her youth.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. D. Trotter Jones and Mrs. Robert F. 
Kirkpatrick of Montgomery and Mrs. Charles Thigpen of Tuscumbia. The 
daughters will be remembered here as Marietta, Martha and Margaret Blake.
