Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Vada Boggs, 88, of 927 S. Christine Ave., Anniston, will be ' 
Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be 
in the adjoining cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Mrs. Boggs 
died Tuesday at her residence after a long illness. Survivors include four 
daughters, Mrs. Tillie Peoples of Anniston, Mrs. Dorothy Mayne of Dayton, Ohio, 
Mrs. Lessie Morton of Ider and Mrs. O'Dell Franks of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, 
Clayton Boggs of Steele; a brother, Jim Carter of Trenton, Ga.; and several 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Boggs 
was a native of Randolph County and had lived in Calhoun County for the past 35 
years. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services
