Boggs, 74, of Lineville died Sunday at Southeastern Nursing Home after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Randolph County with the Rev. James Duke and the Rev, Leron Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Grace Bickert of Anniston, Mrs. Lorene Ledbetter of Anniston, Mrs. Eunice Cooley of Talladega, Mrs. Geneva Twilley of Lineville and Mrs. Nadine Rankin of Piedmont; three sons, Clarence Boggs of Anniston, Leonard Boggs of Atlanta, and Gerald Boggs of Warrior, a brother Pierce Lindley of Wedowee; five sisters, Mrs. Carrie Craft, Mrs. Evie Holmes, Mrs. Zora Higgins, Mrs. Ezra Lancaster and Miss Esther Lindley, all of Wedowee; 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Boggs was a native of Randolph County but had lived in Lineville for nine years. She was a member of Union Hills Methodist Church.
