Billy Todd and the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Congregational Christian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home and until time of services Saturday. Mr. Boggs died Thursday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include June Boggs of Lineville; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Boggs of Lineville; three sons, Danny Cooper of Opelika; Eugene Cooper of Carrollton, Ga., and Ricky Cooper of Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Lewis of Birmingham and Mrs. Betty Beaird of Birmingham; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Fuller, Luther McCain, Billy Cooper, Eugene Cooper, Ricky Cooper and Danny Cooper. Mr. Boggs was a Randolph County native and lifelong resident. He was a World War II Veteran and owned and operated Boggs Bargain Barn for 21 years. He was a member of Hardy Howell Masonic Lodge 459 in Delta and a member of Wesley Chapel Congregational Christian Church.
