Roanoke Leader
Funeral services for Jim Bowen will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at 
Jordans Chapel, with Rev. Lewis Bowen officiating. Interment will be in the 
church cemetery, Quattlebaum's Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Bowen, 50, was a 
native of Randolph County. He is survived by his widow; five sons: Odel, 
Florence, Clarence, J. B., and Albert, all of Newell, Rt. 1; five daughters: Mrs. 
Rosa Mae McDaniel, of Newell, Rt. 1, Mrs. Jessie Mae Hinson, of LaGrange, Mrs. 
Lillie Mae Windsor, of Newell, Mrs. Lonnie Prestidge, of LaGrange, and Miss Ruby 
Bowen, of Newell, Rt. 1; three sisters and four brothers.
