OBITUARIES:

Junior Ray Boyd

   Junior Ray Boyd, age 51, of Rt. 1 Wedowee, died Oct. 30, 1982, at his 
residence following an extended illness.
   Mr. Boyd was a native of Randolph County, a member of Caver's Grove 
Christian Church, a member of the American Legion and the VFW, and assistant 
store manager of Wedowee Super Valu.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emmaline Boyd of Wedowee; three daughters, 
Mrs. Joan Stewart, Mrs. Janet Higgins, and Mrs. Angela Caldwell, all of 
Wedowee; his father, Ralph Boyd of Wedowee; one brother, Jim Boyd of Oxford; 
and four grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mr. Boyd were held at two o'clock at Caver's Grove 
Christian Church, with the Rev. Ralph Worley officiating. Burial was in the 
church cemetery.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
   The family suggested that memorial contributions be made to Caver's Grove 
Christian Church.
