Kenneth Higgins, the Rev. Valter Taylor and the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. today until an hour before service, when the body will be taken to the church. Mr. Boyd died Saturday at Lineville Nursing Facility. Survivors include a daughter. Mrs. Marvilene Livingston of Deer Park, Texas; a son, James Boyd of Valley; three sisters, Mrs. Addie Lee Morris of Valley, Mrs. Miriam Womack of Tennessee and Mrs. Georgie Mae Morris of Georgia a brother. J.D. Boyd of Lanett; 10 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Fred Boyd, Neal Boyd, Gary Boyd. William Boyd, Kenneth Boyd and Boliver Allmon. Mr. Boyd, a Clay County native, had lived in Randolph County for the past 61 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lovie M. Boyd and a son, Billy Joe Boyd. He was a member of Dingler's Chapel Christian Church.
