Oscar Cotton officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Mr. Braden died Sunday in Randolph County. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Verta Braden of Wedowee. Rt. 1., four daughters. Miss Mary Braden of Wedowee, Miss Jerusha Braden of Talladega, Mrs. Clara Dobson of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Mrs. Margorie Baker of Gadsden; a son, Rudolph Braden of Oxford; four sisters. Miss Noma Braden and Mrs. Essie Meeker, both of Wedowee, Mrs. Lorena Traylor of Delta, and Mrs. Hattie Morrison of Bynum; three brothers. Gay Braden of Roanoke. Gilbert L. Braden of Bessemer and H.O. Braden of Wedowee; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons and Spence Lee. Honorary pallbearers were the men of the Corinth churches. Mr. Braden was a retired Anniston Army Depot employee, a Randolph County resident and a deacon at Corinth Baptist Church. He was a member of the Delta Masonic Lodge.
