Oscar Cotton and Dr. Myles Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home until time of service. Mrs. Braden died Sunday at her home. Survivors include four daughters, Ms. Mary Braden and Ms. Jerusha Braden, both of Wedowee, Mrs. Clara Dobson of Deltona, Fla., and Mrs. Marjorie Baker of Gadsden; a son, Rudolph Braden of Oxford; five sisters, Mrs. Ealon Prestridge of Sylacauga, Mrs. Frances Haynes of Newell, Mrs. Betty Hilley of Heflin and Mrs. Lessie Breed of LaGrange, Ga., and Mrs. Mildred Neese of Skokie, Ill.; a brother, Marlin Williams of Anniston; eight grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Brymer, Mickey Moseley, Barry Baker, Chuck Baker, Velford Williams and Dwight Williams. Mrs. Braden was a Randolph County native and a homemaker. She was a retired teacher in the Randolph County School System and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Humphrey Braden.
