Mrs. Sally Mitchum Brand 73 of 5402 23rd Ave Columbus died Thursday at St Francis 
Hospital Funeral was held Friday in Roanoke Ala. Mrs. Brand was born Feb 28, 
1902, in Randolph County Ala daughter of the late William and Rebecca Smith 
Mitchum. She was the widow of the late Walter Brand and had lived in Columbus for 
the past three years. Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Doris B Griffin and 
Mrs. Sara Whaley both of Columbus, and Mrs. Macle B Hester Atlanta, a sister Mrs. 
Gaut Head Rock Mills Ala., two brothers Joe Mitchum Roanoke Ala and Harvey 
Mitchum Talladega Ala., eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
