Thomas J. Brazeal, 70, retired merchant, died Thursday at the Original Medical 
Center in Anniston after a short illness. Services were today at 11 a.m. at 
Wedowee United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hughey D. Little officiating. 
Burial was in Wedowee Cemetery. Benefield Funeral Home was in charge. A life-long 
resident of Randolph County, Ala., Mr. Brazeal was a veteran of World War II, a 
charter member of the Wedowee Kiwanis Club, and a member of Sawyer Lodge 93 F&AM 
and Wedowee United Methodist Church. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Victor Meena of 
Clarksdale; a son, Jerry Brazeal of Wedowee; a sister, Mary Moore of Woodland, 
Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
