Anniston Star
Last rites are being arranged for Mrs. Eva Ruthie Brooks, 35, of 2010 Moore, and 
her infant daughter, who died early this morning at Garner Hospital. Services 
will be conducted at Corinth Church in Randolph County by the Rev. Lewis Bowen 
and Lawrence Dishman. Interment will in the church cemetery, with Usery in 
charge. Time and date will be announced later Mrs. Brooks is survived by her 
husband Ellis, three sons Martis, Roger and James, two daughters. Elaine and 
Geraldine, of Anniston: four sisters. Mrs. Lizzie Ogle and Mrs. Clara Teague, of 
Heflin, Rt, 1, and Misses Vera and Eura Daugherty, of Anniston, five brothers Joe 
of Blue Mountain, John and Russell of Anniston, and Dewey and Albert of Detroit 
Mich.
