Mr. Brooks, who was known as was employed as a guard at Kilby Steel Company. He worked last night and walked home this morning. Shortly after he arrived at his home, 510 South Quintard. he suffered a heart attack and died. He was rushed to the hospital but attempts to revere him were unsuccessful. Mr. Brooks had planned to attend the funeral of his brother. Bob Brooke in Delta today. The latter died at his home Saturday morning after short illness. Funeral arrangements for Patrick Brooks have not yet been completed, it was announced this morning by Jones Funeral Homes. Services will be held at Liberty Church in Clay County and interment will be in the church cemetery. The deceased is survived by the widow; four sons, Damon, Charlie and John Brooks of Anniston, and Louis of Portland, Oregon; five daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Dyson, Mrs. Irvin Clark, Mrs. Emmet Carr and Mrs. Hugh Stephens of Anniston and Mrs. G. L. Braden of Bessemer; a brother, Grover Brooks, of Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Jim Shamley of Wedowee. Additional Comments: NOTE: Liberty Church of Christ RANDOLPH COUNTY.
