OBITUARIES:

Tyvola Brown

   (WOODLAND RT. 1) Mrs. Tyvola Brown, age 72, of Rt. 1 Woodland, died Friday, 
May 15, 1987, at Baptist Montclair Hospital, Birmingham, after a short illness.
   Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, a housewife, and a 
member of Bethel East Baptist Church.
   She is survived by her husband, Dolphus Brown of Rt. 1 Woodland; two 
daughters, Mrs. Garland Gore of LaFayette and Mrs. Margaret Lauderdale of 
Chantilly, Va.; three sons, Jim W. Brown of LaFayette, Johnny M. Brown of 
Bowdon, Ga., and Merle Brown of Wedowee; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, 
Mrs. Ruby Gaylor of Columbus, Ga., and Mrs. Andrew Brown of Woodland.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Brown were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 1987 
at Bethel East Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Williams and the Rev. Gus 
Young officiating.  Burial followed in the church cemetery.
   Benefield Brown-Service Approved Funeral Home, Wedowee, was in charge of 
arrangements.
