Roanoke Leader
Edward Brown, 20, was killed instantly last Wednesday afternoon when the bicycle 
he was riding crashed head-on with an automobile driven by George Traylor 
Calhoun. The accident, which is said by witnesses to have been unavoidable, 
occurred near Providence in this county. Young Brown was the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Hill Brown, of the Providence community.

Additional Comments:
He is buried in Providence Cemetery.
