Mr. Benjamin Hill Brown Dies At The Age Of 77

   Mr. Benjamin Hill Brown, age 77, of Route 1, Graham, passed away on 
Saturday, February 18th.
   Mr. Brown was born in Randolph County on April 24, 1889, and was the son of 
the late John and Kesiah Lewis Brown. He had been a lifelong resident of this 
area and was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Savannah Brown, Route 1, Graham; six 
daughters, Mrs. D.W. Crenshaw, Route 2, Wedowee, Mrs. George Sears, Bowdon, 
Ga., Mrs. Ellis West, Route 2, Wedowee, Mrs. Helton Daniel, LaGrange, Ga., 
Mrs. Monroe Henderson, Route 2, Woodland, and Mrs. Virgil Whitman, Route 2, 
Bowdon, Ga.; one son, Ezra Brown of Route 2, Bowdon, Ga., thirty-six 
grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lena Daniel, 
Route 1, Woodland, and a number of nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services for Mr. Brown were held Sunday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m. 
from the Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Guy Rogers and the Rev. 
Hollis Chambers officiating. Music was under the direction of Woodrow Thompson.
   Interment was in the church cemetery with Wynn Funeral Home of Bowdon, Ga., 
in charge of arrangements. Grandsons of the deceased served as active 
pallbearers.

in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Lamar, Randolph County, Alabama; James 
Brown; Lena Ellen Brown Daniel who is buried in Providence Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Lamar, Randolph County, Alabama; and Millard Coleman Brown who is 
buried in West Napolean Church of Christ, Napolean, Randolph County, Alabama.
