Mrs. Savannah Elizabeth Brown
(Graham, Rt. 1)

   Mrs. Savannah Elizabeth Brown, 85, of Rt. 1, Graham, passed away Sunday, 
Feb. 15, after an extended illness.
   She was born June 29, 1884, daughter of the late George and Susan Butler 
Brown. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a lifelong resident 
of this area.
   Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. D.W. Crenshaw, Wedowee, Mrs. George 
Sears, Bowdon, Mrs. Ellis West, Wedowee, Mrs. Helton Daniel, LaGrange, Mrs. 
Monroe Henderson, Rt. 2, Woodland, and Mrs. Virgil Whitman, Rt. 1, Graham; one 
son, Ezra Brown, Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Jannie Brown, and Mrs. Catherine 
Cummings, both of Roanoke.
   Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 2 o'clock from the 
Providence Baptist Church, with Rev. Guy Rogers and Rev. Hollis Chambers 
officiating. Music was furnished by the church choir. Grandchildren served as 
pallbearers.
   Interment was in the church cemetery. Rainwater Funeral Home, Bowdon, was 
in charge of arrangements.

Jannie Brown Young Brown is buried in Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery, 
Randolph County, Alabama.
