Eunice Whaley Brown 78 of Fairfax died Thursday at Lanier Memorial Hospital The 
funeral will be at 2 pm today at Johnson-Brown Service Funeral Chapel in Langdale 
Ala with burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Randolph County Ala 
Mrs. Brown was born May 18 1905 in Wedowee Ala daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rube 
Whaley She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Survivors include her 
husband G.T. Brown of Fairfax a son Gurson Brown of Fredonia Ala a daughter 
Minnie Cook of Columbus, two sisters Nora Moses of Talladega Ala and Eva Wood of 
Anniston Ala, two half-sisters a half-brother three grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
