Mrs. Josie Brumbeloe committed suicide at her home five miles east of Wedowee on last Wednesday by hanging herself with a rope in the barn near her house. The body was found by her daughter about three o'clock in the afternoon, a short time after her death. Relatives state that the deceased had been in ill health for several weeks. The body was interred at Rocky Branch church on Thursday afternoon. Three daughters and two sons survive her. They are Willis Brumbeloe, Wedowee; Mrs. Dora Bailey, LaGrange; Arthur Brumbeloe, Birmingham; Mrs. Eula Mae Yates, Tyus, Ga., and Miss Earl Brumbeloe, Wedowee. Mrs. Brumbeloe was 56 years of age and had been a member of the Rocky Branch Baptist church for about 32 years.
