Roanoke Leader
The death early Thursday, June 15th, of Mrs. Carrie Lou Rollins Brumbelow was not 
unexpected, as she had been a sufferer from heart attacks for some time and was 
stricken with paralysis several weeks ago. The funeral was held at Rocky Branch 
Friday morning, and her body was laid to rest near the grave of her mother in the 
church cemetery, her pastor, Rev. C. S. Heard, in charge of services. The mound 
of beautiful flowers was emblematic of her sweet Christian life.
