Services for Mrs Eulene Smith Buckhannan, 61, of Delta were today at Center West 
Baptist Church with Revs. Charles Haynie, J.D. Davis and Orval Pesnell 
officiating. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery with Benefield Funeral 
Home of Lineville in charge. Mrs. Buckhannan died Monday at University Hospitals 
in Birmingham. Survivors include her husband, W.T. Buckhannan of Delta; two 
daughters, Mrs. Yvonne "Bonnie" Baldschun of Macon, Ga., and Mrs. Beverly Graben 
of Lineville; two sons, Larry Buckhannan of Delta and Donald Buckhannan of Saks; 
a sister, Mrs. Lorene Daugherty of Lineville; five brothers, LB. Smith of 
Marietta, Ga., Winford "Dutch" Smith and Sanford Smith, both of Delta; Clifton 
Smith and Edward Smith, both of Lineville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren. Pallbearers were James McGraw, Johnny Summerlin, Mike Smith, 
Kenny Buckhannan, Phillip Gentry and Johnny Carr. Mrs. Buckhannan was a native 
of Marshall County and had lived in Clay County since 1938. She was a retired 
medical secretary and a member of Center West Baptist Church. In lieu of 
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Rescue Squad.
