OBITUARIES:

Mrs. Annie Burdette

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Annie Burdette, age 92, of Rt. 4 Roanoke, died Monday, Jan. 
24, 1983, in Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
   Mrs. Burdette is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Dovie Davidson of Devine, 
Tex., Mrs. Grace Nelson of Lanett, Mrs. Catherine Underwood of Rt. 4 Roanoke, 
and Mrs. Laverne Cranford of Roanoke; two sons, Junior Burdette of LaFayette 
and Jim Allen Burdette of Devine, Tex.; and eight grandchildren, 16 great-
grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Burdette were set for two o'clock Wednesday 
afternoon, Jan. 26, from Antioch Christian Church, the Revs. E.G. Clark, 
Wallace Roberts, and Ed Lauderdale officiating, with burial in the church 
cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Raymond Landers, G.C. Landers, Leon Landers, Wilson Brown, 
Buster Kitchens, and Owen Shelnutt.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
