OBITUARIES:

Miss Betty Catherine Butler

   (ROANOKE)Miss Betty Catherine Butler, age 67, of 21 White Street, Roanoke, 
died Sunday, May 9, 1982, in Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
   Miss Butler is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Lettie Akins of Graham, Mrs. 
Ivy Lambert of Lineville, Miss Loyce Butler of Newell, and Mrs. Lessie Lambert 
of Newell; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ilene Butler of Newell; and several nieces 
and nephews.
   Funeral services for Miss Butler were conducted Tuesday afternoon, May 11, 
from Union Baptist Church, the Rev. S.T. Janney and the Rev. Monroe Wiggins 
officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Donald Stillwell, Byrd Stewart, Deroy Butler, Larry 
Raughton, Woodrow Crews, and Woodrow McLeod.
   Quattlebaum’s Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
