Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Olar Butler, 73, of Newell, Rt. 1, were held today 
at 2 p.m., at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Monroe Wiggins and Ray Runyan 
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Quattlebaum's Brown-Service 
Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Butler died Thursday at her home. She is survived by 
a son, Charlie D. Butler of Newell; six daughters, Mrs. Lettie Aikins of Graham, 
Miss Betsy Butler, Miss Lois Butler and Mrs. Lessie Lambert, all of Newell, Mrs. 
Nettie Deese of Anniston and Mrs. Ivey Lambert of Cragford, one sister Mrs. Etta 
Cline of Wedowee.
