Services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jimmy Corbett officiated. Mr. Caldwell, a native of Randolph County, AL, had lived in Macon for 30 years. He was retired from the sheet metal division of Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, Harrison Sunday School Class, the Board of Deacons, the Benevolent Committee, Christians of Duty, the extension department of the Sunday School and the Baptismal Committee. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
