Mrs. Iola McCormick Cash 72 of Wadley died in Chambers County Hospital in 
Lafayette Tuesday of burns received in a fire at her home Monday morning. Funeral 
services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wadley Baptist Church with the Rev. 
John Christian officiating. Burial followed in Wadley Cemetery with Quattlebaum's 
Brown- Service Funeral Home in charge. She is survived by three sons, Grady Cash 
of Birmingham, Orion Cash of Wadley, Bryan Cash of Columbus, three daughters Mrs. 
Katie Jo Robertson of Jacksonville. Fla., Mrs. Rossie Mae Cofield of Wedowee, Rt. 
3, and Mrs. Dorothy Hicks of Wadley; three brothers, Grady McCormick of Cragford, 
Clayton McCormick of Brimingham and Ross McCormick of Lineville and 13 
grandchildren.
