Clegg, mother of Mrs. W. C. Stacy, 239 St., SE, Fort Walton Beach, died after a long illness at G. Wagner Nursing Home in Panama City early Wednesday morning. A native of Franklin, Ga., Mrs. Clegg was the widow of Charles Wesley passed away in 1952. Mrs. Clegg had lived with her daughter son- in-law in Fort Walton Beach for a number of years. Final funeral arrangement are pending, but services have been tentatively scheduled to take place this afternoon. The funeral will be from the Quattlebaum Funeral Home of Roanoke, Alabama. The interment at Pleasant Hill Church, near Wadley, Ala. Mrs. Clegg is survived by daughter and by two sons, George M. Clegg of Colman, Ala., and Frank P. Clegg of Pensacola. A second daughter, Mrs. Aurine Barber, is the wife of a serviceman stationed in France at the present time. Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert L. Ruffin, of Albany, Ga., and Miss Ruth Clegg, Opelika, Ala., and a stepson, C. B. Clegg, of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Milt Lee of Wedowee, and Mrs. Carrol Relihan of Douglas, Ga., and a brother, Hoke Wood, of Miami. There are 9 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
