Lineville Headlight
Mr. E. W. Cofield died at his home in beat No. 13 Randolph County, last Sunday 
morning at 4:00 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks. He was first at 
tacked by German measles and before he had recovered from the effects thereof, he 
was stricken with typhoid fever. The funeral services were held Monday at 
Christiana and some four or five ministers and citizens talked on the life of the 
deceased. The funeral services were then turned over to the Masonic fraternity of 
which he was a member, and the remains were laid to rest in the Christiana 
cemetery with Masonic honors. The deceased is survived by a widow and twelve 
children
