Funeral services for Jimmy Dale Cofield, 15, who died June 19 in a Tuscaloosa 
Hospital, were held at Union Baptist Church Monday. He died after a week's 
illness.  Officiating at the service were the Revs. Monrow Wiggins of Bowdon, T. 
D. Noles of Graham and Arris Cavender of Heflin. Burial was in the church 
cemetery, Quattlebaum Brown-Service directing. Survivors include his father, Roy 
Cofield of Newell; four sisters, Mrs. Isabell Gentry of Ft. Payne, Mrs. Barbara 
King of Ft. Payne. Mrs. Marie Brown of Roanoke and Mrs. Helen Brown of Roanoke; 
five brothers, Roy E. Cofield, Jr., of Newell, Loveless Cofield of Newell, Billy 
Cofield of Atlanta, Ga., Frank Cofield of Atlanta, and Talf Cofield of Ft. 
Payne. Pallbearers were Rodney Morrison, Terry Brown, Larry Cosper, Rodney 
Brown, Coy Newton, Vernon Lipham, Douglas Johnson and Wayne Cofield.
