Mrs. Cottle is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mavis Cobb of Rt. 2 Roanoke, Mrs. Susie Elliott of Roanoke, and Mrs. Bobbie Jean Pierce of Plymouth, North Carolina; four sons, Rayford Cottle, Jerrell Cottle, and James M. Cottle, all of Roanoke, and Fred Cottle of Rt. 1, Wadley; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Miss Edna Waldrep of Roanoke; and two brothers, Johnny Waldrep and Mitchell Waldrep of Roanoke. Funeral services for Mrs. Cottle were conducted Friday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. from the Lowell Christian Church with the Rev. Ed Lauderdale and Rev. S.T. Janney officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sammy Hill, Terry Cobb, Mike Cottle, Greg Cottle, Phillip Cottle, and James Phillip Pierce. Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements. __________ Additional Comments: [Annie Mae is the daughter of George W. Waldrep and Susan E. Whaley.
