Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Effie B. Craft, 78. of Wedowee were today at New Home Methodist 
Church in Randolph County with the Rev. Hobart Murphree officiating. Burial was 
in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. 
Mrs. Craft died Sunday in Clay County Hospital in Ashland after a long illness. ' 
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Laura Phillips of Lineville and Mrs. Lucille 
Craft of Wedowee; five brothers, Will Bailey of Childersburg, Charlie Bailey of 
Wedowee, Wilson Bailey of Opelika, Morton Bailey of Boise, Idaho, and Autrey 
Bailey of Boaz. Mrs. Craft was a native of Randolph County and had lived in 
Talladega County for 30 years before returning to Randolph County five years ago. 
She was a housewife and a member of New Home Methodist Church.
