David M. Craft, 76, of Wedowee, Rt, 1, died Monday at 12:30 a.m. at Ashland Hospital after" a long illness, Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Leron Murphy. the Rev. Hobart Murphree, the Rev. Bruce Carson and the Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. The Rev. Mr. Craft is survived his wife, Mrs. Mary H Craft of Wedowee; four sons, Herbert Craft of Anniston, Herman E. Craft of Oxford Hobart Craft of San Antonio, Texas, and David M. Craft Jr. of Mountain Home, Idaho; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel New, Oxford; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Pike and Mrs. Dona Cone of Altoona; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Active pallbearers will be nephews. The Rev. Mr. Craft had been a Methodist minister in Randolph, Clay and Cleburne counties for the past A7 years. He was a native of Randolph County and a member of Delta Masonic Lodge. The body will lie at the funeral home until time of services.
