Services for Mrs. Christine M. Craven, 63, of Wadley, Rt. 1, were today at 2 
p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Parker and the Rev. 
Tommy Gene Young officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield 
Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Mrs. Craven died Wednesday at Wedowee 
Hospital. Survivors include her. husband, Aubrey Craven of Wadley; three 
daughters, Mrs. Floris Langley and Mrs. Peggy Richardson, both of Roanoke, and 
Mrs. Frances Pate of Woodland; three sisters, Mrs. Maudie Pate and Mrs. Leon 
Craven, both of Roanoke, and Mrs. Bea Beda of Atlantic City; 13 grandchildren 
and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Tim Cook, Robert Garrett, Kirby 
Bassett, Ted Brown, Keith Langley, Kenneth Langley, Scott Craven and Phillip 
Langley. Mrs. Craven was a Randolph Couty resident. She was a retired employee 
of Handley Mills, a former waitress, and a member of Midway United Methodist 
Church.
