Roanoke Leader
Mose Culberson, a young negro man subject to epileptic fits, was found at 6 
o'clock last Wednesday evening drowned in a shallow branch in this place just 
east of the state highway in the Negro section of the city. He had left home 
early that morning. Justice I. W. Lewis and a local physician investigated the 
case and reported the death to have been due to the trouble above mentioned. 
Deceased was a grandson of Easter Culberson.
