This file was contributed by: William Fischer, Jr. ===================================================== March 2001 [Excerpt from] THE DEATH ANGEL VISITS COMMUNITY ---------------------------- The same day, about noon, occurred the death of Mrs. SUDDUTH [Catherine Jane TAYLOR SUDDUTH, 12 Dec 1840--1 Jul 1911], at her home several miles north of town [Roanoke]. She was the widow of the late Mr. John [Jonathan] SUDDUTH [6 Jun 1830--10 Nov 1908], was over seventy years of age, and was highly esteemed by all. Funeral services were conducted at the home church, Lebanon [Christian Church], Sunday by J. M. JOINER and C. B. HOLDER.
