Anniston Star
John Thomas Daugherty age 90, died at his residence. 2111 Moore Avenue, last 
night shortly before midnight. He had been ill about four months. The funeral 
will be conducted at Usrey Chapel tomorrow morning, 10 o'clock, with the Rev. R. 
L. Baker officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery. Surviving are the 
widow, Mrs. Lillie Daugherty. Anniston: two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Bible, Wedowee. 
and Miss Nell Daugherty, Anniston: two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Bible, Louisiana, and 
Miss Sudie Doris Daugherty, Louisiana. nine grandchildren and six great 
grandchildren.
