Ashland Progress
Whereas it has pleased the Supreme Grand Architect of the Universe to call from 
our mystic and ancient fraternity our Bro. W. C. Davis who was born April 9, 1876 
and departed this life June 2, 1929. Be it resolved that we as Brethren, do 
regretfully mourn his death and loss the fraternity has sustained. Although Bro. 
Davis had not long been affiliated with Weathers Lodge No. 390, he was an 
unusually attentive member. Be it further resolved that we with his family 
believe and know that we as a lodge have lost a true type of Christian character, 
a loyal and devoted Mason, and the family a true husband and a kind father.
