Anniston Star
Funeral services were conducted for Reuben Davis. 34, at Center West Baptist 
church Dec 25, at 2 o'clock. Mr. Davis died at his home Dec 23, while home on 
furlough from the Army. He was born in Cleburne County. The Rev. Haynie, Otis 
Watts, and the Rev. Greenwood officiated with Blair Funeral Home in Lineville in 
charge. Burial was at the Center West cemetery. He survived by his wife. Mrs. 
Lessie Buchanan Davis; two sons; four daughters, his mother, Mrs. Mary Davis; his 
grandfather D. Butler, Sr.; one sister, Mrs. Ida Mae Cox Austell, Ga.
