Survivors include his wife, Mae Helen Trammell of Lineville; a daughter, Christy Trammell Severe of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, Dale Lashann Trammell and Brian Jermaine Trammell of Lineville; two sisters, Gale Trammell McFarland of Roanoke and Gloria Farrow of Camp Hill; and three brothers, Robert Staples and the Rev. He was a retired presser at Sewell Manufacturing Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bremen. Survivors include his wife, Doris Haynes Maddox of Bremen; daughter, Sharon Allen of Bremen; son, Walter Keith Maddox of Tallassee; brother, Garner Maddox of Woodland; and two grandchildren. Mr. Yates attended Cartersville High School. He loved motorcycles and fishing, but most of all he loved the many friends who stood by his side during his illness. Mrs. Riley was born in Randolph County, Ala., June 23, 1918. She resided in Dothan since 1969, working as a LPN at Southeast General Hospital until retirement in 1982. He was an active member of Faith Baptist Church and retired as the co-op manager of the Troup County EMC after 37 years of service.
