Mrs. Sarah Letha Dempsey, 43, of Heflin, Rt. 1, died Wednesday morning at the 
Wedowee Hospital. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. A. L. Dempsey; one 
son, Stephen Lester Dempsey; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald Huddleston of the 
Philippines, Miss Connie Sue Dempsey and Miss Rebecca Lynn Dempsey of Heflin, Rt. 
1. two grandchildren; her parents. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lambert, three brothers 
Radford Lambert of Newell, Billy Lambert o 0xford and Tracy Lambert of Heflin: 
two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Forman and Mrs. Florence Deese Funeral services were 
held today at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim's Rest Church with the Rev. Hollis Horn and Zenas 
Windsor officiating. Burial was the church cemetery.
