Mr. Dewberry was a lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was a farmer and sawmiller and a member of the Senior Citizens Group of Wedowee and Levens Baptist Church. Mr. Dewberry is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Smitherman and Mrs. Kathleen Ray, both of Woodland; two sisters, Mrs. Leslie Richardson of Lanett and Mrs. Nannie Dell Pullen of Columbus, Georgia; one brother, Uvie Dewberry of Huguley; and seven step-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Dewberry were Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Gibbs, the Rev. Cecil Halsey and the Rev. Barrett Holloway officiating. Burial was in the Wedowee Masonic Cemetery.
