Roanoke Leader
Mr. George W. Drummond passed to his final reward last Saturday, following and 
illness of pneumonia. He had been in failing health for several years. The 
deceased was 72 years old. was a good citizen and a faithful member of the 
Primitive Baptist church. He leaves a wife, five daughters, three sons and two 
brothers. Funeral services were held at Paran church Sunday at 2 o'clock in the 
presence of a large congregation. Rev. Mr. Bennett, of Ashland, was in charge.
