Anniston Star
A Bowden Ga. teenager drowned in Lake Edmund in south Cleburne County Tuesday 
afternoon despite efforts by two fellow swimmers to save him. Jesse James Dunn. 
17, drowned in the lake at approximately 2 p.m. after stopping by the private 
lake to swim. According to his companion. Dunn was wearing regular street pants 
while swimming and tired some 10 to 15 feet from a pier. The friend said that he 
made two attempts to recover Dunn and another swimmer also tried to save him.

He is buried at Bethel-West Cemetery Randolph County, AL.
