James D. Dutton 47 of Fairfax died Saturday at his home of a long illness The 
funeral was Sunday at the chapel of Johnson-Brown Funeral Home with burial in the 
Wedowee City Cemetery. Mr. Dutton was born Feb 3, 1933, in Chambers County Ala 
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dutton. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in 
Riverview Ala and a veteran of the Korean War He was retired from Fairfax Mills. 
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Bertha Whaley Dutton three sons James Dutton 
David Dutton, Mark Dutton all of Wedowee Ala a daughter Miss Dale Dutton Wedowee 
a brother Olin Dutton Roanoke two sisters Mrs. Kathleen Crowder and Mrs. Irene 
Gore both of Huguley Ala and six grandchildren.
