Yesterday morning at 11:55 o’clock Joseph Edward the ten-year-old son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Benjamin East died at the home of his parents after a protracted illness of 
dropsy and consumption This afternoon at 4:40 o’clock the remains will be taken 
to High Pine church in Randolph County Ala, where they will be interred Sunday in 
the family burying ground.
