Roanoke Leader
Sarah Carolyn East, 20-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. East, of Rt. 2, 
Roanoke, passed away upon arrival at a local hospital Wednesday, Feb. 23. She is 
survived by her parents; her paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. R. B. East, of 
Rt. 2; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Yarbrough, of Rock Mills; 
and great - grandparents, Mrs. J. H. B. East, of Birmingham, and Mr. J. W. 
Yarbrough, of LaGrange. Funeral services will be held from the Rock Mills 
Methodist Church on Friday, Feb. 25, at 2:30 p. m., with the Rev. R. V. Jensen 
officiating. Interment will be in the Rock Mills cemetery, with Quattlebaum's 
Funeral Home in charge.
